Growth Habit & Roots: It is a fast-growing, scrambling vine driven by flexible, running stems. At every leaf node along the vine, the plant naturally develops small, brown aerial roots. Outdoors or against a damp moss pole, these roots grip tightly to climb upward; when left unsupported, the vines spill downward in a graceful, tiered canopy.
The Sweet Spot: Thrives beautifully in bright, indirect sunlight. High, filtered light keeps the growth dense and causes the golden or white marbled patterns on the leaves to pop vividly.
Low-Light Resilience: It is incredibly shade-tolerant and can survive in dim room corners or windowless offices under fluorescent lighting. However, in deep shade, the growth will slow down, the stems will become long and "leggy," and beautifully variegated leaves will revert back to solid green to maximize photosynthesis.
