The Asparagus 'Meyersii' (frequently referred to as Asparagus Myersii, Meyeri, or commercially known as the Foxtail Fern or Asparagus Merry) is an award-winning, highly sculptural evergreen perennial. While it shares the "Asparagus Fern" family name, its unique structural growth sets it completely apart.

  • This plant is beautifully low-maintenance. It does not require regular shaping.
  • Simply use sharp, clean shears to snip off any aging, yellowed, or dried fronds right at the soil level to clear space for fresh, vibrant new spears to emerge from the center.Indoors: Place it in a spot with bright, indirect, or filtered sunlight (like near an east- or semi-shaded west window). Too little light causes the dense needles to yellow and drop rapidly, leaving the structural stems bare.
  • Outdoors: It thrives beautifully in morning sun with afternoon shade. While it can handle more direct sunlight than trailing ferns, harsh, scorching midday heat will bleach its deep green color into a washed-out yellow.
